I have owned my Morris since 1957. Restoration took much longer than expected. Major correction work had to be carried out on the wood framing to make the doors fit correctly. When it did eventually get onto the road, after all major parts had been overhauled, we did manage a few years of "old car" motoring. Problems with the clutch kept the car in the garage for a long time, with work and other projects taking prority. That has now been fixed and the small problems since then haven't dampened my enthusiasm for this little car. I prefer to try and keep the car as it was originally built so there are always small jobs to do.
